Reader Response 1: Huck Finn (1 - 6)

(Relationship to parents)He chased me round and round
the place with a clasp-knife,calling,me the angel of death
and saying he would kill me and then I couldn't come
for him no more.

His dad was so drunk he thought he was the angle of death
and chased him around the cabin with a knife
and said he will kill him if he come an closer.

I think he shouldn't have gave his dad any money because if he
wouldn't his the wouldn't had gotten drunk and chased
him around the cabin with a clasp-knife.
My dad acts similar to that because when he get too drunk
he talks me to death and he talk tough and bring
up things that happened in the pass and makes it seems as
if it just happened that day and says he going to hit and etc.

I think Mark Twain was thinking about something that his dad did or something that his dad would have done if he was a drunk. A real life situation Mark Twain was probably in is his dad told him that he was going to kill him for some reason. I think he just tweeked it a little to make it more interesting.
